KMRD Partners Interviewed by ABC News Regarding Donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

ABC Action News anchor and reporter Sarah Bloomquist interviewed two KMRD team members, Cat Paciente and Barbara Santilli, on Tuesday, May 24, as they presented a $15,000 check to support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Daisy Days campaign.

Daisy Days started 60 years ago as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (“CHOP”) month-long campaign to benefit the hospital’s cancer center and patients helped by its innovative treatments.

KMRD Partners Risk Management and Insurance Solutions, with offices in Warrington, Limerick and West Chester, Pennsylvania has established a history of support for the local and international community.

Ongoing initiatives include the agency’s support of Feed My Starving Children. In 2015, volunteers organized by agency president Kevin McPoyle, packed 357,696 meals to feed 980 children for a year. This number was higher than the 277,700 meals packed in 2014 and 108,864 meals packed in 2013.

For the past three holiday seasons, in lieu of sending Holiday Cards and gifts to clients and partners, KMRD Partners staff members have delivered 36 eight-pound spiral cut hams to the Keystone Opportunity Center, located in Souderton, PA to help feed 250 hungry local families.

The agency also sponsors an annual “Bowl Over Cancer” event, which raises money for Gilda’s Club, and supports Little Smiles, a local charity that grants “little” day-to-day wishes kids have from meet and greets with stars, to video games and iPads, to pizza parties and bikes.
