Philly is 189 in Car Collisions – Not Much Of An Improvement
In a report released by Allstate a month ago, Philadelphia ranked 189th of America’s 200 largest cities in terms of car collision frequency. That is behind Chicago – 150th, Dallas – 170th, New York – 172nd and even Los Angeles – 181st. For Philadelphia drivers, a collision is 65.9% more likely compared to the national average.
The fact this is an improvement over last year, when Philadelphia was 190th, brings little comfort.
The time to act is now for companies doing business in Pennsylvania, whether the car is garaged here or not. If your company has a fleet of vehicles or if employees use their own vehicles while on company business, review your auto insurance coverage each year to understand its deductibles and coverage. Otherwise, your company could be at risk of substantial financial liabilities one minute from normal.
