KMRD’s numbers continue to tell a story of financial strength, new growth, and achieving our goals. But, there are also stories behind the numbers. And many good reasons for our success.

2016 was a terrific year for KMRD.  We made a few strategic investments to our business which added tremendous value to the firm, expanded into new lines of business, ran our business effectively and even won an award honoring ethics in the workplace. We also expanded our deep bench with two more industry leaders and a few more outstanding people joined our team.

Most importantly, we met or exceeded commitments to our clients, treated our employees and our community well and new organic growth entering into 100+ new client partnerships.

We want to thank our clients, employees, partners and friends for a great year and for making KMRD what is is today.

2016 Highlights

  • GROWTH – Our business grew another 18%!  KMRD PartnersThis homegrown increase validates our unique approach to risk and insurance.  We also entered into 137 new client partnerships.  A new record…
  • SERVICE & LOYALTY- We retained over 98% of our clients. We are grateful for their loyal partnership.
  • PROVEN RESULTS – New clients who assigned KMRD as their exclusive representative achieved rate decreases that were better than the marketplace average including more coverage!
  • DIVERSITY – No one industry represents more than 15% of our business. We specialize in one thing… improving the fundamentals of risk management.
  • KMRD 2016 New VisitorsCAPACITY – Staffing levels and technology enable us to provide broader coverage, better claims results, impact safety and loss control support and provide competitive pricing. Our Risk Management Division’s client to employee ratio remains a low 4 to 1. You will not find a more focused support team.
  • POPULARITY Interest from potential new clients continues to grow. Unique visitors to our website increased 62%!
  • INTEGRITYNo one carrier has more than 10% of our business demonstrates we do not have any standing carrier favorites. The carrier who does the best job for our client will always be our favorite.

Better Client Support

  • BETTER COVERAGE – We analyzed a record 1,579 policies in 2016 bringing our database of coverage reviews to a total of 15,602. This equates to over 2.5 million individual coverage points!  We put this coverage expertise to use for our clients every day! 
  • MORE PRODUCTIVITY – We filed another record 105,566 documents to our proprietary risk management system.  We now have over 700,000 documents.  We are in the information business and our ability to accumulate and access intellectual capital assists us in serving our clients better.

  • SUCCEED RISK MANAGEMENT CENTER – We now offer the most comprehensive insurance risk management platforms available. It includes online safety training modules, HR tools, Cert Tracking, and more.
  • WE MOVED OUR OFFICES! – After an extensive search for more space to accommodate our growth, we moved downstairs!  We look forward to showing off our new digs! Want to learn more?
