We are eternally grateful to our clients and partners for their support with another successful and rewarding year at KMRD. Better teamwork leads to better results! The following are some highlights:
Clients are the focus of everything we do
- GROWTH – Our business grew another 19%! This is in addition to 32% /14%
growth in 2013 / 2014. This homegrown increase validates our unique approach to risk and insurance. We also entered into 94 new client partnerships. A record… - SERVICE & LOYALTY- We retained 98.5% of our clients. We are grateful for their loyal partnership.
- PROVEN RESULTS – New clients who assigned KMRD as their exclusive representative achieved rate decreases that were 8% better than the marketplace average including more coverage!
- DIVERSITY – No one industry represents more than 10% of our business. We specialize in one thing… improving the fundamentals of risk management.
- CAPACITY – Staffing levels and technology enable us to provide broader coverage, better claims results, impact safety and loss control support and provide competitive pricing. Our Risk Management Division’s client to employee ratio remains a low 3 to 1. You will not find a more focused support team.
- INTEGRITY – No one carrier has more than 8% of our business demonstrates we do not have any standing carrier favorites. The carrier who does the best job for our client will always be our favorite.
- POPULARITY – Interest from potential new clients continues to grow. Unique visitors to our website increased another 42% year-to-year!

COMMUNICATION
- New Risk Management Website with more well-organized content.
- NEW Client Center – We expanded our Client Center to include more tools and forms. Check it out and let us know if there is anything else you would like to have!
- Risk Management Videos – 11 more available for your viewing pleasure!
- Our One Minute from Normal website and weekly newsletter is still being well received and shared across all industries. We also created a new website with videos and more well organized tools. Our risk management blog provides more, better organized risk management content.
TECHNOLOGY
- Redundant Internet Access – We now have 2 access points to the internet and upgraded our back-up systems constantly duplicating our servers offsite. Disaster Recovery is our specialty.
- Redundant Servers – We upgraded our back-up systems to real-time. We practice disaster recovery!
TALENT
- New Career Section of our Website – Business follows talented people. KMRD’s focus is to attract the best people in the industry.
- New Talent Acquisition Consulting support with the help of Talentsum. TalentSum is a specialist talent consultancy that partners with it’s clients to help them excel at talent attraction and engagement. We recommend them highly.
Excellence is in the Details
- COVERAGE – We analyzed 1,644 policies in 2015 bringing our database of
coverage reviews to a total of 14,023. This equates to over 2.2M individual coverage points! Our experience tells us this is the most complete database of coverage offerings in this industry. We put this intellectual property to use for our clients every day! - PRODUCTIVITY – We filed another record 91,493 documents to our risk management system. We now have over 594,000. We are in the information business and our ability to accumulate and access intellectual capital assists us in serving our clients better.
Giving Back
We are proud of our community efforts! This year was productive as ever providing meaningful support to many organization including Feed My Starving Children, Keystone Opportunity Center, and Gilda’s Club to name a few.
