KMRD Partners Adopts Attitude of Gratitude
People who adopt an “attitude of gratitude” as a permanent state of mind experience many health benefits, according to research fielded by Robert Emmons, a psychology professor at the University of California at Davis. According to the journal Cerebral Cortex, gratitude stimulates the sensation of pleasure.
With this research and the Thanksgiving holiday in mind, we express our gratitude to Zenith Insurance Company for generously supporting Feed My Starving Children.
Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries, where they are used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. Last year, this organization mobilized nearly 900,000 volunteers to pack more than 229 million meals.
Zenith Insurance Company’s belief in supporting its communities through charitable donations, volunteer activities and employee involvement, both at the regional and national levels, makes us proud to be Zenith’s partner in supporting our clients with Workers’ Compensation solutions.
