For the third holiday season in a row, KMRD partnered with Leidy’s “Simply Delicious” to deliver delicious spiral cut hams to the Keystone Opportunity Center. Keystone 
Opportunity Center has a well-earned reputation for housing the homeless, feeding the hungry and educating adults and children in Upper Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Leidy’s, which has been selling quality pork products to hungry people for over 100 years, again offered its products to KMRD at a discount as a contribution to the cause.
KMRD employees, minus the reindeer and sled, made the pick-ups and deliveries.
During the weekend of September 25-27, 2015, Kevin McPoyle, President of KMRD, and a team of volunteers packed 357,696 life-saving meals at Delaware Valley University to feed nearly 1,000 starving children. Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries, where they are used to
operate orpha
nages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. Last year, FMSC mobilized nearly 900,000 volunteers to pack more than 229 million meals. You can visit them at http://www.fmsc.org
