KMRD Partners Receives University of Delaware Blue Hen 17&43 Award for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Growth
Recognizing KMRD Partners for the second consecutive year, the Blue Hen 17&43 Awards build on the University of Delaware’s long tradition of leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship.

For the second year in a row, KMRD was one of 43 companies to receive the Fastest Growing Companies honor after a panel comprised of UD Horn Entrepreneurship and Lerner College personnel, accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders, ranked nominees based on innovativeness, milestone accomplishments, current and future revenues, job creation, and social impact.

Recognizing successful ventures, the Blue Hen 17&43 Awards builds on UofD’s long tradition of leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship by honoring the 17 most promising new ventures and 43 fastest growing companies founded, owned or led by its students and alumni. The prestigious recognition is a collaboration of the university’s Horn Entrepreneurship and Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics.
Only businesses that operate in a manner consistent with the guiding principles of the University of Delaware – and those able to fulfill the selection criteria – were eligible for Blue Hen 17&43 Award consideration.
For each nominated company, Horn Entrepreneurship and Lerner College personnel calculated the compounded annual growth rate based on revenues for the three most recent fiscal years. Companies were ranked from highest to lowest, and the top 43 were selected for award recognition. Fastest growing companies experienced growth rates in excess of 10 percent per year over the last three years and generated at least $1 million in annual revenue.
