John Garber, Jr., CSP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

John's responsibilities include, human capital and risk management, employee benefits, talent management, organizational development and business development

John has over 25 years in risk management, human capital, employee benefits and occupational health & safety. He provides risk management and human capital management consulting services to a wide range of organizations from growth oriented middle market accounts to publicly traded international organizations. He is part of our senior care and aging services practice group as well as providing support in business development, risk management and content development. Client services include enterprise risk assessments and solutions oriented strategies for risk mitigation and control, human capital assessments and consultation across a wide spectrum of HR and performance related initiatives, employee benefit plan strategies, organizational change, as well as workplace learning and development processes.

In addition to his roles with KMRD, John currently serves as an adjunct professor for the Graduate Human Resource Development program at Villanova University teaching courses in organizational change, employee benefits and human resources, and the ACCESS and MBA programs at DeSales University, teaching courses in talent management, compensation & benefits, risk management and employment practice/HR liability. He is the author of the EMS Safety and Risk Control Resource Manual, contributing author to the Employment Labor Law Audit (ELLA®), and has published many articles on health, safety, security and risk management.
