Joseph Robinson, Chief Financial Officer
Joe is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting and tax compliance for KMRD
Prior to KMRD, Joe was the President of Joseph F Robinson & Company where he served individuals and small business with tax and accounting services.
Joe first began his career as a CPA for Beucler Kelly & Co., serving many real estate partnerships. While pursuing a Masters in Information Technology, Joe joined Elko Fischer McCabe & Rudman Ltd. At EFM&R, Joe formed their first computer committee, installed Novell networks, managed the IT department and consulted with many clients on accounting, tax hardware and software needs.
In 1996, Joe formed Joseph F. Robinson & Company and accepted the CFO position at Paul Hertel & Co., Inc., a highly regarded insurance brokerage in Olde City Philadelphia. Joe installed Hertel’s first PC based insurance agency management system, TAM. During that time, Joe became President of the local TAM user group and Treasurer of the national group, ASCnet. He taught for ASCnet throughout the USA on financial reporting and introduced Pivot Tables to its 100,000 members. Joe helped lead the sale of Hertel to Beneficial Bank and became President of Beneficial Insurance Services; a $100M insurance brokerage operation with 50+ employees. With the sale of Beneficial Bank to WSFS, Joe spearheaded the sale of the Insurance subsidiary to USI; joining them as President of their Plymouth Meeting office.
